The episode begins with Karthik questioning Karan about why he called him. Karan replies cheerfully that they should share a drink and bond. Karthik reminds him that he was blackmailed into marrying Karan’s sister.
Karan admits he used Karthik’s father against him but claims it was for his sister’s happiness. He convinces Karthik to drink with him and secretly mixes something in the drink, expecting Karthik to reveal the truth soon.
As they drink, Karan tries to make small talk and orders food despite Karthik’s refusal. After a while, Karthik starts feeling dizzy. Seeing his condition, Karan probes him about what’s bothering him.
Karthik emotionally confesses that he once loved a woman who broke his heart and mocked his feelings. When Karan presses him further, Karthik reveals the woman’s name — Lakshmi — before collapsing unconscious. Karan is stunned.
Later that night, Lakshmi hears a knock at her door. When she opens it, Karan points a gun at her. He demands to know why she hid her marriage to Karthik. Lakshmi refuses to explain, calling it her personal matter.
During their confrontation, the gun accidentally fires, grazing the wall. Karan insists she still loves Karthik, but Lakshmi tells him to kill her instead. Karan smirks and shows her a video, blackmailing her into following his orders.
At dawn, Lakshmi reaches the location he sent. Meanwhile, at home, Dadi prepares for Karthik and Barkha’s pooja and asks the priest to fix a wedding date. Barkha notices Karthik’s distraction but he pretends to be fine.
When Karan’s phone remains unreachable, Dadi worries. Suddenly, drummers arrive with a veiled groom — Karan. Everyone is shocked when he removes his sehra and claims he got married to fulfill Dadi’s wish.
Dadi and Barkha demand to meet the bride. Karan calls her inside. To everyone’s shock, Lakshmi enters with her face covered. Karan proudly introduces her as his wife, leaving the entire family — especially Karthik — speechless.
