Jhanak: Rishi’s Gentle Concern for Jhanak

The episode opens with Jhanak expressing her belief that girls can achieve anything if given equal opportunities as boys. She reflects on how society often fails to offer those chances but feels grateful for her own, which helped her earn a place in the college. She thanks Indrani for arranging her hostel room and expresses gratitude to everyone who supported her — even her critics, saying their negativity made her stronger.

Sanjhbati praises Jhanak’s speech, while Aditi dismisses it as too much for a debate. Arshi remarks that Jhanak is just like her mother — outspoken and irritating. Aniruddh silently recalls Nutan’s words, and when Arshi teases him about being impressed, he remains quiet. Dadabhai, however, appreciates Jhanak’s talent and predicts a bright future for her.

When asked to speak, Indrani applauds Jhanak’s determination, noting how she rose from a small village to achieve great success. She encourages everyone to support such students and even announces a special prize for Jhanak.

Later, Rishi offers to drop Sanjhbati home. Aditi criticizes Indrani’s decision, claiming Jhanak didn’t deserve the win. Rishi defends Jhanak, saying her hard work earned her victory.

Outside, Rishi and Sanjhbati meet Jhanak. The two girls exchange mutual admiration for each other’s performances. Rishi proudly tells Jhanak he’s impressed with her, leaving her pleasantly surprised.

Jhanak and Sanjhbati quickly develop a warm bond. Sanjhbati calls her a younger sister and assures her that one day, everyone who underestimated her will respect her.

Meanwhile, Aditi grows restless when Rishi doesn’t answer her calls.

In the final moments, Jhanak slips on the stairs, but Rishi catches her in time. Their brief eye contact speaks volumes before Sanjhbati interrupts. When Rishi notices Jhanak’s bleeding leg, he gently tends to her wound, showing deep care and concern — a moment that marks quiet affection between them.
