The episode begins with Jhanak emotionally declaring that she still loves Rishi deeply, despite their broken marriage. Her confession shocks Mishti and Aayush. Mishti claims Jhanak is drunk, while Aayush advises her to rest in the hostel. However, Jhanak insists she only drank juice and begins missing her mother, breaking down in tears. Aayush helps her to the medical room, unaware of Mishti’s intentions.
Mishti and her friends lock Jhanak and Aayush inside the room and mockingly play Hum Tum Ek Kamre Mein Band Ho, leaving them trapped. Aayush, confused and frustrated, tries to open the door as the prank unfolds.
Meanwhile, at home, Aditi, Tanushri, and Neelu discuss Rishi’s growing closeness with Jhanak. They question his intentions, while Rishi defends himself, saying he only accompanied Jhanak to meet Sanjhbati. Aditi accuses him of mixing his past feelings with the present, but Rishi firmly states he owes no explanations.
The next morning, Mishti tells everyone that Jhanak and Aayush are still locked inside. She further reveals that Jhanak, while drunk, confessed her love for Rishi. The revelation shocks the family. Aditi worries about their reputation, while Rishi feels betrayed and decides to confront Jhanak. Mishti adds fuel by hinting that their secret marriage might soon be exposed.
At college, Priyanshi and her friends show the principal a video of Jhanak and Aayush trapped in the same room, setting the stage for a major scandal.
