Meanwhile, Ved’s elders, Uday and Pratap, tell him that after his marriage with Aarti, they will leave for a pilgrimage. But sinister intentions lurk behind the scenes. Kali declares that Aarti will never make it to the wedding alive, claiming only Ved will reach the mandap. Uday adds that both Aarti and Anjali will die on the wedding day, hinting at a deadly plot.
