When Vrinda calls Mitali’s friends, Angad notices a sudden shift in Mitali’s behavior and overhears her friends discussing how to recover their lost money from her.
Growing suspicious, Angad investigates and confronts Mitali. Pressured by the truth, Mitali finally confesses that she lied to him after losing a huge sum of money in gambling. She admits borrowing money from friends, stealing jewelry from home to repay them, and pretending to be fine out of fear of exposure.
Angad listens silently before revealing his disappointment. He apologizes to Mitali’s friends and promises to repay their money himself. Later, he lies to Noina about Mitali’s wellbeing, even as he decides to end their relationship permanently.
