The episode unfolds with Mitali accusing Baba of being a fraud and urging Angad to call the police. Angad, however, challenges her outburst and accuses her of deception. When Vrinda calls Mitali’s friends, Angad notices a sudden shift in Mitali’s behavior and overhears her friends discussing how to recover their lost money from her.
Growing suspicious, Angad investigates and confronts Mitali. Pressured by the truth, Mitali finally confesses that she lied to him after losing a huge sum of money in gambling. She admits borrowing money from friends, stealing jewelry from home to repay them, and pretending to be fine out of fear of exposure.
Angad listens silently before revealing his disappointment. He apologizes to Mitali’s friends and promises to repay their money himself. Later, he lies to Noina about Mitali’s wellbeing, even as he decides to end their relationship permanently.
When Mitali pleads for forgiveness, Angad declares that trust once broken cannot be restored. Calling her a cheater, he ends their relationship, leaving her heartbroken.
Elsewhere, Tulsi confides in Ritik about her growing distance from Mihir after Shalini’s betrayal. Ritik comforts her and assures her that their bond will survive. Meanwhile, Mihir reflects on his crumbling marriage, realizing that both he and Tulsi failed to value each other.
The episode concludes with Angad dropping Mitali at the chawl and confiding in Vrinda. He admits that true relationships are built on friendship and honesty — qualities Mitali lacked but Vrinda embodies.
