The episode begins with Rishi waiting patiently outside the exam center. When Jhanak steps out, the title song plays softly in the background. Seeing him there, she asks why he came. Rishi smiles and says he wanted to pick her up since he had dropped her earlier.
Jhanak looks uneasy and tells him that his actions often create problems for her. She explains that Aditi dislikes it when Rishi helps her, so he should respect Aditi’s feelings. But Rishi insists she should first sit on the bike as he plans to take her for lunch.
Jhanak refuses and tells him to spend that time with Aditi instead. Rishi then surprises her with a small vermilion box, saying she likes it. Shocked, Jhanak asks what right she has to apply it now and reminds him how things went wrong at Aniruddh’s house.
Upset, Rishi says he’ll throw it away, but Jhanak stops him, saying vermilion should never be insulted. She finally agrees to keep it but questions his reason for giving it. Rishi simply says he thought she’d like it. Jhanak tells him her preferences shouldn’t matter to him.

Finally, she agrees to go with him. As she sits on the bike, they share a brief eye-lock, and she scolds him playfully for starting it too soon.
Meanwhile, at home, Aditi appears upset. When Neelu and Tanushri question her, she hides her feelings. Neelu reveals Rishi dropped Jhanak at the exam center, shocking Aditi. Tanushri remarks that Jhanak will soon leave for Simulboni once her exams are over.
Just then, Rishi and Jhanak return. Aditi taunts Rishi for taking over Jhanak’s responsibilities. Tension builds as Tanushri and Indumati accuse Jhanak of manipulating Rishi. Jhanak defends herself calmly, saying she never asked for his help.
Rishi tries to diffuse the situation, but Aditi storms off angrily. The elders warn Rishi that he’s ruining his married life, while Jhanak declares she is not his responsibility.
In the end, Jhanak announces she will leave the house the next day and stay in a hostel once she gets college admission.
