The episode begins with Dadi asking Karan and Lakshmi to perform a ritual. She stops Karthik from leaving, reminding him that as part of the family, he must participate.
Karan adds that since Karthik will soon be the family’s son-in-law, he should stay. Karthik complies. Dadi instructs Barkha to place the ring in the vessel to start the ritual, but she refuses.
Dadi explains that her Pandit suggested celebrating Karan and Lakshmi’s wedding first. Barkha hesitates, but Karan urges her to be happy for her brother. Both place the ring in the vessel.
During the ritual, Karan holds Lakshmi’s hand tightly. Lakshmi finds the ring, but Karan takes it, declaring he is lucky to have her. Karthik comments indirectly, and Lakshmi leaves.

Lakshmi notices flowers in the room. Karan mockingly sets them on fire, but she quickly extinguishes it, insisting on sleeping safely on the couch to protect herself.
