The episode opens with Karthik catching Lakshmi as she falls down the stairs. Lakshmi reveals that she saved Karthik’s life by giving him his medicine. Karthik, insisting he has moved on from her, questions whether her actions are meant to trouble him. Lakshmi responds with a sarcastic remark and leaves. Barkha, observing their interaction, recalls Bhavani’s warnings and plots against Lakshmi.
Later, Barkha attacks Lakshmi in the dark, throwing knives and surrounding her with electric wires. Lakshmi tries to escape but gets electrocuted. Karthik intervenes, removing the fuse and inadvertently helping Lakshmi escape through a window, leaving Barkha frustrated.
Karan, searching for Lakshmi, encounters her at night, leading to a brief confrontation where her spectacles are broken. The next day, Dadi encourages Lakshmi to dress elegantly, envisioning her as the perfect Kapoor daughter-in-law. Lakshmi agrees, and upon entering the dining room in her new look, she leaves Karan, Karthik, and the entire family stunned by her transformation.
