The episode begins with Vasundhara saying that on Diwali, Goddess Lakshmi doesn’t bless everyone, even if everyone prays. She adds that only those with a pure and generous heart receive her blessings. Vasundhara says she has brought gifts for the Shah family.
Rahi and Anupama greet each other warmly. Prem decides to capture a picture of their reunion. Anupama joins in and asks him to take a picture of all of them together. Meanwhile, Ishani tries to impress Raja, while Mahi looks around for Gautam, which Meeta notices.
Anupama wishes Vasundhara a happy Diwali. Vasundhara taunts her, saying she used to be like a firecracker, always moving around. Anupama playfully compares Vasundhara to a rocket. Later, Anupama thanks Parag for helping the Shahs and supporting Bharti during her operation. The Shahs welcome the Kotharis warmly.
Anupama is surprised to see Gautam with them. Vasundhara reveals that Gautam has been managing their business and mocks Ansh for failing to take care of Hasmuk, forcing Prem to stay with him.
Anil questions why Gautam seems more focused on the Kothari business than his own. Gautam defends himself calmly. Leela jokes that Parag should cut off one of his arms, but Vasundhara interrupts her sternly. Leela laughs it off, and Anupama reminds everyone to speak positively since it’s Diwali.
Rahi apologizes to Anupama, saying her Diwali is ruined because of Gautam. Anupama encourages her to focus on the brighter side. Both recall Anuj fondly. Rahi asks about Anupama’s first Diwali with him, and Anupama remembers how Anuj had confessed his love that day. Rahi smiles, saying Anuj was truly the best.
Elsewhere, Mahi apologizes to Gautam, saying people always misunderstand him. Gautam admits to his past mistakes, but Mahi asks him not to be so hard on himself.
Anupama distributes sweets to everyone. Vasundhara expresses happiness that Anupama is returning to Mumbai and suggests she should move there permanently. Devika arrives and taunts Vasundhara for her remarks, making Anupama smile with relief.
Leela calls Devika a “Diwali bomb” as she introduces Jaya to everyone. Devika announces she has decided to adopt Jaya, leaving Anupama and Rahi overjoyed. Hasmuk then encourages everyone to celebrate, and the Shahs and Kotharis begin dancing together.
Suddenly, Devika feels unwell, worrying Anupama. Devika asks why everyone seems sad, and Anupama explains it’s because she’s leaving soon for Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Ansh and Prarthana notice Mahi getting close to Gautam. Paritosh observes Ishani and Raja secretly texting each other, while Rahi grows uneasy seeing Prem busy on his phone.
