The episode begins with the Shahs and the Kotharis performing a joint prayer. Anupama notices Mahi holding Gautam’s hand and looks puzzled. Rahi also grows suspicious after seeing Prem’s name on the phone. Mahi tells Gautam that since she held his finger first, it’s now his turn to hold her hand.
Anupama thanks Vasundhara for arranging such a grand puja. Vasundhara explains that it’s special because Anupama is leaving today. Surprised, Anupama listens as Vasundhara tells her that her dreams and duties await her. She asks Anupama not to worry about her family anymore.
Anupama says she will always be there whenever her children need her. Vasundhara insists the kids are grown and don’t need constant care, but Anupama disagrees, saying a mother’s love is needed at every age. As Vasundhara prepares to bid her farewell, Rahi sneezes, which Vasundhara calls a bad omen. Anupama smiles and assures her that nothing bad can happen around her.
Elsewhere, Ishani tries to blackmail Raja for money, but he refuses to fall for her tricks. Ishani worries that people will harass her if she doesn’t pay them. When Pari spots the two together, they make an excuse, leaving her confused.
Before leaving, Anupama advises her family to stay united and always support each other. She also prays for Mahi’s remarriage. Later, she sees Gautam giving Mahi water, which makes her uneasy. Prarthana warns Anupama that Gautam is manipulating Mahi and begs her to stop the relationship.
Anupama slaps Mahi in anger. Mahi accuses Prarthana of turning Anupama against her. Anupama tells Mahi to stop being blind in love and see Gautam’s true nature. She questions how Mahi can fall for a man like him. Prarthana again warns that Gautam is deceiving her.
Anupama tries to explain the difference between real love and obsession, telling Mahi that she and Gautam have no future. But Mahi refuses to listen and boldly confesses her love for Gautam. She accuses Prarthana of being jealous and asks why Gautam doesn’t deserve another chance.
Gautam suddenly arrives and interrupts the heated conversation. Mahi takes him away despite Anupama and Prarthana’s protests. Worried, Prarthana urges Anupama to save her. Anupama sadly replies that Mahi won’t listen now—and she cannot let her destroy her own life.
