The episode begins with Jhanak taking Parashar’s blessings before leaving. Parashar insists on accompanying her, but Jhanak gently refuses, reminding him that he has a fever and should rest. She shares her joy about getting a medical seat in a Kolkata college and mentions she will stay in the hostel.
Parashar advises her to take Mangal along, but Sakhi volunteers to go with her instead. Parashar gives Jhanak some money for her expenses. Mangal also hands her a letter and money, saying it was sent by Jhanak’s teacher. Jhanak emotionally promises to return everyone’s kindness once she becomes a teacher. Sakhi remarks that their teacher knew they needed funds for her application.
Parashar blesses Jhanak, saying Nutan’s good wishes are always with her. Feeling guilty, he laments not being able to earn enough to support her properly. Jhanak assures him that she will make him proud. She promises to return as a successful doctor one day.
Sakhi says Nutan would have been happy to see this moment. Parashar asks Jhanak to take care and instructs Mangal to handle things in Kolkata. As they head to the bus stand, Kanka silently thinks that Jhanak’s fate might mirror Nutan’s betrayal.

Meanwhile, at another house, Tanushri confronts Rishi, questioning why he still feels responsible for Jhanak. She admits that Jhanak was never wrong but insists that his duties now lie with Aditi. Tanushri clarifies that she wants Jhanak to achieve success — but far from their home — to avoid further conflict.
Rishi agrees with Tanushri but remains confused about certain things. When Tanushri asks if he would still take responsibility for Jhanak if she wanted it, Rishi firmly says he would not interfere unless Jhanak sought his help.
Later, Indumati pleads with Aditi not to leave the house. Tanushri says the situation is Rishi’s fault and she cannot stop Aditi. Aditi breaks down, saying she cannot live with a man who constantly thinks of Jhanak and accuses him of emotional infidelity.
