The episode begins with Jhanak firmly telling Rishi that she doesn’t want him to take responsibility for her anymore. She adds that she will soon remove his name from the guardian column. Confused, Rishi asks what wrong he has done. Jhanak questions why he didn’t tell Aditi and his family about their meeting. She believes he hid it because he knows it’s wrong and says she doesn’t want to be the reason for any rift between him and Aditi. Before leaving, she apologizes for refusing the food he brought.
Meanwhile, Aditi expresses her dislike for Jhanak studying in Kolkata. Indumati insists that Jhanak already got admission. Tanushri remarks that since Jhanak isn’t local, she’ll surely get a hostel room. However, she fears that if Jhanak doesn’t, she may use sympathy to live with Rishi’s family. Aditi confidently says Aniruddh has managed everything. Indumati warns Aditi to ensure Jhanak doesn’t settle in Kolkata, while Tanushri fears Jhanak might return to claim her rights on Rishi. Neelu agrees they should teach Jhanak a lesson.
Just then, Rishi enters and overhears their conversation. Aditi tells Indumati that her parents have spoken to the principal, ensuring Jhanak won’t get a hostel room. Shocked, Rishi realizes how far Aditi has gone. Neelu comments that Jhanak may then approach Rishi’s family for shelter. Aditi threatens to leave if that happens. Though she claims she isn’t against Jhanak’s education, she insists Jhanak should study in Simulboni instead. Tanushri feels relieved hearing this. Rishi silently vows not to let such injustice happen.
Neelu notices Rishi’s presence and asks when he arrived. He calmly replies and asks them to continue. When Tanushri offers him dinner, he refuses and says he isn’t hungry. Although the women dismiss it as casual gossip, Rishi realizes this has become his fight too.
The next morning in Simulboni, Jhanak tells Parashar she hasn’t received any call from college. Feeling better, he decides to accompany her. Sakhi worries about Jhanak’s accommodation, while Dhamu says she can’t stay at Rishi’s house. Parashar blames Aniruddh for her troubles, but Jhanak defends him, saying he lacks the courage to face the truth.
Sakhi remarks that one day, when Jhanak becomes a doctor, Aniruddh will accept her. She also criticizes Aditi for being selfish. Jhanak defends Aditi, saying she loves her husband deeply and has no reason to sacrifice her marriage. When asked if she loves Rishi, Jhanak denies having any feelings for him, claiming neither does he. Dhamu disagrees, reminding her how Rishi always comes to help, and Parashar adds that Jhanak has supported Rishi many times too.
Suddenly, Rishi calls. He informs Jhanak that she has been denied a hostel room due to Aniruddh and Arshi’s interference. Urging her to fight against the injustice, he reveals that he has informed the media, who will cover the issue tomorrow. Shocked, Jhanak questions his motives, but Rishi says he would have done this for anyone. He insists she deserves fairness and must stand for truth.
After the call, Parashar asks what happened. Jhanak shares that she was denied a hostel room and that Rishi encouraged her to fight back. Parashar assures her of his support and predicts that the truth will soon come out. However, Jhanak says it’s not the right time yet and decides to talk to the principal first. Sakhi expresses her faith in Jhanak’s determination. Confidently, Jhanak declares she has worked hard for this chance and will see who dares to stop her dreams.
