The episode begins with Karan discovering both Karthik and Lakshmi lying unconscious in the jungle. He assumes they were attacked by a snake and believes Lakshmi might have risked her life to save Karthik, sensing some hidden connection between them.
Lakshmi later regains consciousness at home with Swetha by her side. Concerned, Swetha scolds her for venturing into the jungle. She says Lakshmi was fortunate the doctor administered the antidote in time. Just then, Karan arrives, wanting to speak to Lakshmi privately. Swetha excuses herself to make coffee.
Karan directly asks Lakshmi about her bond with Karthik, questioning why she endangered herself to save him. Lakshmi defends herself, insisting she would have helped anyone in that situation. She asks Karan why he was there, but he avoids answering and leaves when Swetha returns with coffee.
Meanwhile, Karthik wakes up to see Barkha, who expresses her worry and claims she was the one who rescued him. Barkha confesses her love for Karthik, secretly admitting to herself that she lied to keep him close.
Later, Maddy confronts Karan for tampering with Karthik’s vehicle and misleading him with wrong directions. Their heated exchange is overheard by Lakshmi. Furious, she confronts Karan, accusing him of endangering innocent lives. Karan retorts, questioning her concern for Karthik, and she storms off.
Karthik later meets Lakshmi, teasing her for not congratulating him on his engagement. Lakshmi finally congratulates him and walks away, leaving Karthik thoughtful and hurt.
Barkha, while searching for Lakshmi’s designs, finds Karthik’s photo in her belongings. She confronts Lakshmi, who remains silent. Enraged, Barkha injures Lakshmi by stepping on her foot. Swetha covers up the situation with an excuse, but Barkha warns her to be careful.
Barkha later complains to Karan, claiming Lakshmi is trying to come between her and Karthik. Karan assures Barkha that he will not let that happen.
Finally, Swetha asks Lakshmi if she was once a fan of Karthik, to which Lakshmi quietly agrees. Swetha advises her to let go of the past and leaves her deep in thought.
