The episode begins with Karan scolding Lakshmi for interfering in others’ work. Lakshmi explains she was only helping someone who was stressed about her lyrics. Karan sternly replies that he wants only the best talent in his company and cannot tolerate cheaters who depend on others.
He sarcastically tells Lakshmi to count the designs and mirrors on a saree if she has no work. Lakshmi protests that it’s too tough, but Karan says she can resign if it’s difficult.
Later, while Karan is on a business call about an upcoming music event, Lakshmi returns with the count. When Karan doubts her, she confidently says, “It’s 10,003. If you don’t believe me, count them yourself,” and walks away. She thinks this is the only way to deal with his arrogance.
Outside, a flower seller approaches Lakshmi. Seeing the flowers, she remembers Karthik and feels emotional on Karwa Chauth. Coincidentally, Karthik lands at the Chandigarh airport but misses seeing her. Both silently feel each other’s absence.
Meanwhile, Karan reaches home, furious, and throws his jacket—accidentally breaking a vase near his Dadi. Worried, he apologizes, and Dadi asks what’s bothering him. Before he can answer, Lakshmi walks in, leaving him stunned.
Dadi warmly introduces Lakshmi to Karan, saying she once saved her life and now works in their company. Lakshmi gives flowers to Dadi, who praises her kindness. When Dadi steps inside, Karan mutters that Lakshmi is an opportunist and storms off.
Dadi then asks Lakshmi to deliver a Panch Dhatu idol to her friend at the Gupta house—the same venue where Karthik is invited to perform. Lakshmi agrees and leaves with the idol.
On her way out, some women from the temple tell her the mehendi they brought blesses a woman’s bond with her husband. As Lakshmi trips, the mehendi accidentally spills onto her hands. Dadi and the women call it a divine sign, but Lakshmi silently misses Karthik.
Elsewhere, Karthik arrives at the party and agrees to sing despite his fading fame. As Lakshmi reaches the venue to deliver the idol, she hears a familiar voice. She stops in her tracks, realizing it sounds just like Karthik—and her heart tells her he is near.
